Who runs the website and how to contact us

Independent website. Data comes from Spain’s Ministry for Ecological Transition and the other public sources cited; these bodies do not sponsor or endorse this website. The project is not a petrol station, energy supplier, vehicle manufacturer or public authority.
Where the information comes from
Fuel prices, addresses and opening hours come from information published by the Ministry and reported by stations. Charging data comes from MITERD through the DGT’s National Access Point; fixed-camera references come from the DGT. Municipality names and centres use IGN data. Maps use OpenFreeMap and © OpenStreetMap contributors; road routes and place searches use OpenRouteService / HeiGIT. Vehicle information draws on EEA / DG-CLIMA WLTP data.
The electricity reference is domestic PVPC from Red Eléctrica, not a public charger’s tariff. Specific commercial permission for REData/ESIOS remains unverified; public API access does not settle it. See sources and licences for the terms, attribution, dates and outstanding questions.
How comparisons and rankings work
- Daily downloads are scheduled. The fuel-data timestamp available to this version is 07/11/2026 at 12:51. Prices can change later; check the pump price and station conditions before refuelling.
- Price tables compare the selected fuel. A station with a price flagged as awaiting confirmation remains visible with its warning but is excluded from highlights, minima, averages and recommendations. The current checks flag petrol or diesel more than 15% below the provincial average, or LPG more than 25% below it.
- Local averages use available confirmed prices. Historical comparisons use daily snapshots; a missing observation is not a measured price. A standard tank-saving example uses 50 litres unless you enter a different quantity.
- Personal comparisons can sort by distance or estimated total refuelling cost, including travel using the stated origin, consumption and litres. Without road results, straight-line distance multiplied by 1.3 is an approximation. A municipality centre is labelled as such and is not your device location.
- Charging comparisons use connector compatibility, your AC/DC limits and required energy. Estimated charging time is energy divided by the lower of site power and car limit, multiplied by 1.15. Travel estimates use ORS when complete; otherwise the common approximation uses straight-line distance × 1.3 and 50 km/h. Live occupancy and the actual charging curve are unknown. The ‘best option’ highlight requires confirmed opening hours.
- Vehicle comparisons distinguish original WLTP figures, registration-weighted medians and our own CO₂-derived or real-world estimates. None guarantees the consumption of a particular car.
Advertising and commissions do not buy positions or change source prices. Different tabs rank the criterion you select; a price list and a total-cost comparison can therefore have different orders. The Spanish methodology page provides further detail on filters, historical data and coverage.
Funding and corrections
Advertising is labelled ‘Advertising’. Any commission-generating or sponsored link must be labelled ‘Sponsored link’ and carry the appropriate sponsored-link attributes. Rejecting optional cookies preserves access to the content. We do not sell fuel or guarantee prices, savings, availability or travel times.
Reports and usefulness votes are prepared in the code; the public status check on 31 October 2026 returned disponible:false. Until activated, use the contact email. A report never changes a price automatically. Read the privacy policy for location, local profiles and report retention, and the cookie policy for the storage inventory.
